A worthy biopic on a very eccentric mathematician, who has been neglected for years and just recently recognized as a brilliant genius of his time.

Undoubtedly, the character is not entirely portrayed in his complexity, the screenplay glossed over his omosexuality and on the fact he committed suicide after the hormonal treatmet he was obliged to.

“The Imitation Game” is clearly a “for family - version” of a wartime hero who decrypted the Nazi Enigma Code and saved countless lifes despite he’s depicted as a stereotyped nerd, who was not able to interact with other coworkers or simply unable telling a joke.

This movie can be easily compared with the current TV series “Manhattan" which describes the secret American Manhattan Project.

“Sometimes, it is the people no one imagines anything of who do the things that no one imagines.
