A touching movie directed by Moretti about the complex subject of the loss of a parent.

This work is fully coeherent with all the recurring autobiographical elements of the filmaker (“Son’s Room”, “Caos Calmo”), except that Moretti is just a secondary character in this film and his presence is very discrete, never sarcastic and able to express himself without veils in a tender way.

Despite all, something lacks and the character starred by J. Turturro (and also the several flashbacks) breaks the “narrative line” an the doesn’t make the atmosphere lighter as Moretti would have liked to.

"I wish I knew how to quit you."
