The film is shot in a very stunning way, giving the impression to live a pictorial experience that leads to inner ancestral fears or metaphors. The former “Innocence” and the latter “Evolution” pose the same question according different points of view, in each situation the answer evolves into a transition.
Even It’s not definitely an horror movie, it contains all the elements to disturb the viewer without using splatter scenes and despite all the storytelling is intentionally provocative and intriguing.
The excellent choice of the Lanzarote island as location creates a unnatural and evocative world where laws of nature can be subverted letting the storytelling deliberately open-ended.
