At the same time, this film is very simple and powerful in expressing very complicated feelings with few words.

The spectator is immediately involved in the main character’s relationships and in the general environment, tendentially hostile towards them .

Despite Ali and Emmi are theorically so far on the basis of the race and the age, they gradually prove to be so close although politics and prejudices divide them.  Deliberately, director cuts the “strong feelings” such as desperation and happyness in order to remain “in the middle” of the soul.
