The Kogonada’s debut film doesn’t disappoint high expectations.

The main character isn’t a person but the modern Architecture (Saarinen jr. and sr.), just for once, form designs people’s soul and not the opposite…  Each frame is maniacally and elegantly shot according an accurate symmetry, photography is flawless and extremely attractive.

Even the modern design is apparently rational and a “cold” style, the director fully succeed in exploring a growing intimacy between the characters even they are so far each other…

The final result is a whispered plot that accompanies a stunning visual experience.

This film has been warmly welcomed by critics, not sure that also the audience will do the same.
