In 60 years, the war movies have always been made by the same optics: the American one. Has anyone ever asked how it can be be looking at what happens on the other side of the fence, to be protagonists? War is war, and the soldiers who fight it are just men, with strengths and weaknesses of all human beings: fear, courage, cowardice, sense of justice, or any other kind of feeling you think it is possible to prove in those moments.

"I have always depended on the kindness of strangers."
A Streetcar Named Desire, 1951
