In 60 years, the war movies have always been made by the same optics: the American one. Has anyone ever asked how it can be be looking at what happens on the other side of the fence, to be protagonists? War is war, and the soldiers who fight it are just men, with strengths and weaknesses of all human beings: fear, courage, cowardice, sense of justice, or any other kind of feeling you think it is possible to prove in those moments. God only knows what you can do when fear paralyzes you and makes you crazy bones the idea of being trapped, maybe a fight without knowing why, and especially because you have to die! I've seen people, not American or Japanese, but simple poor people and their feelings. I watched the film appreciating the original language and the absolute veracity, mentally complimented by a director who has amazed me for its sensitivity and for showing the other side of the coin, without sensationalism, but with extreme simplicity. 10 and praise
