Plot: 
This film is set in 2093 and takes place in the same universe as the 'Alien' movies. A group of explorers, including some archaeologists, are on an "undisclosed" mission. They arrive at a planet millions of miles away from Earth. The team spot what they believe to be signs of civilization. They go to investigate and find more than just signs, they find conclusive evidence. But some of them have an ulterior motive for being there, including the Weyland Corporation. They believe that this is where the human race actually came from. Things soon turn from excitement to survival once inside their discovery.

This should really be considered one of the most frustrating movies ever made in film history and also for its very inept script. Character motivations and situations are either thin or extremely baseground cliche that it creates such an odd dissonance between picture and dialogue. We're seeing admittedly great digital effects but it all becomes so ugly to watch when any character, and most are written as very shallow and common archetypes, begins an action that will predictably end in the most convenient way possible.

This film is a failed attempt to recover the Alien saga . The first part somehow manages to create a certain expectation but is greatly disappointed . Many scenes are totally ends in themselves and are only minimal justification in the need for pouring two hours of special effects , at least those well made .
